Table knife (for slicing the sandwich and vegetables)INGREDIENTS:
2 slices whole-wheat bread
1 slice cheese
Topping listed belowINSTRUCTIONS:
Wash your hands with soap and water, then gather all your kitchen gear and ingredients and put them on a clean counter. Start with whole-wheat bread and your favorite sliced cheese, then lay on the color.
1. Red: tomatoes, red peppers, radishes
2. Orange: carrot salad
3. Yellow: yellow bell peppers, hummus
4. Green: spinach, lettuce, pesto, fresh herbs, cukes, avocado, sliced green apple
5. Purple: cabbage slaw
Try This: Wrap your Rainbow Sandwich in lettuce leaves instead of bread.
