About Us

Mercy Defiance Clinic is a multi-specialty medical group of some 30 physicians in primary care and specialties. In addition, the staff includes more than 30 visiting specialists, who maintain part-time hours, plus a corps of associated healthcare providers. In all, the staff totals more than 75 providers. Mercy Napoleon Clinic offers full-time Family Practice services and the part-time services of specialists.

Mercy UrgentCare is located in the Clinic and operates from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on weekdays, Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sundays from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Mercy Defiance Hospital includes a 23-bed progressive care unit for inpatients, surgical suite for inpatient and outpatient procedures, an observation unit, and an Emergency Center that is staffed by specialists in emergency medicine and open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Tertiary care is provided at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo. Life Flight provides emergency access to these services.

As part of an integrated system, Mercy is well positioned to evaluate and appropriately expand the scope of services provided for the people of Defiance, the surrounding area, and beyond.
