Vascular disease refers to medical conditions that affect your circulatory system, including diseases of the arteries, lymph vessels, veins, and blood circulation disorders. Your circulatory system provides the pathway for blood to be transported, or circulated, through your body using a system of blood vessels. Vascular diseases can cause arteriosclerosis. Risk factors for vascular diseases include:
