Low-cost accommodations offered for families of seriously ill patients who live out-of-town. This service is available on a first-come-first-serve basis. If Home Away From Home accommodations are not available, ask for a list of hotels that offer discounted rates for Mercy patients.

Provides accommodations for families of sick children. Lodging, laundry, food and one round-trip to a medical facility daily are offered at no charge. Guests have a key and can come and go as needed. Services are limited to families of children being treated at an area medical facility. 

Mercy Home Care

Offers skilled nursing, home health aid and social work assistance, and physical, occupational and speech therapies. Information for Toledo area is available 24 hours a day: (419) 251-4663 or toll free (877) 251-4663. For Mercy Home Care in Tiffin and Willard, information is available 24 hours a day at (800) 481-7755. During regular business hours, call Mercy Home Care in Willard or Mercy Home Care in Tiffin at (419) 455-8180. 

Home Medical Equipment

If needed, your nurse will assist you in making arrangements for durable medical equipment for home use.

Hospice

A program of care for persons whose disease is not responsive to curative treatment. The goal is to have the patient live as fully and comfortably as possible, through the control of pain and other symptoms, along with psychological, social and spiritual support.
