Defiance, Ohio - Mercy Defiance Hospital is a 23-bed progressive care hospital. The hospital is a joint venture between Mercy Defiance Clinic and Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center. The eight-bed Emergency Center is staffed by experienced physicians, and is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The Emergency Center offers a direct link via Life Flight to Level I trauma care at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo.

St. Vincent serves as Mercy's tertiary referral center. Now, with a hospital in Defiance, St. Vincent and the Mercy Defiance Clinic can provide inpatient and emergency services to Defiance residents right in their own community.
