Tea and Ovarian Cancer
A recent study has shown that drinking two cups of tea per
day may significantly reduce the risk of
. From 1997 through 2004,
researchers from Sweden looked at more than 61,000 women. Women who drank a cup
or less per day had an 18 percent lower cancer than women who hardly ever drank
tea. Women who drank two or more cups per day had a 46 percent lower risk.
The tea that the women consumed in the study was black tea,
but researchers believe that green tea may also be beneficial.
