A specially trained speech/language therapist and an occupational therapist will work with you and your child in a small group setting to demonstrate and teach critical foundation skills.

CHIP Summer Camp

Your child will shine this summer in our preschool group for 4-6 year olds. This summer program is designed for children with autism, developmental delays, or for children who would benefit from continued practice to further develop successful school readiness skills. Foundation skills including motor, academic, social, language and cognitive skills will be the focus of this group. This program is best suited for those children who are able to participate in a small group setting without the need of one-to-one instruction. Space is limited. This group is led by a licensed preschool teacher.

This group meets Monday - Thursday, 9 a.m. to 12 noon  or 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.  Please call, 419-794-7259, or email for more information.

Occupational Therapy Groups

Scribble, Scrabble, and Writing

Pre-K and kindergarten children will be introduced to school readiness activities that will build the foundation for handwriting. Children will learn to form capital and lowercase letters and numbers. Motor skill work will prepare your child for pencil and paper skills. 1st and 2nd grade groups will emphasize correct letter formation, sequence formation, and reversal-free handwriting.   Group is be limited to 3 children.

This group meets 2 times per week for 4 weeks; 50 minute sessions. Two sessions are offered. You child may participate in one or both sessions.
