While Endometriosis Resections can be done with laparoscopy, the daVinci Surgical System enables the surgeon to view the incisions in 3D. This three dimensional view allows the surgeon to see endometriosis lesions with more clarity than two dimensional viewing available through laparoscopy, enabling the surgeon to more precisely remove the lesions.
